Well, this took longer to get started than it should have. Man plans and God laughs, as the old Yiddish saying goes. But here we are, now. So, what are we writing about? A fine question. Sterling Elephant ostensibly covers travel, but that is a wildly broad term. Specifically, we’ll pass off random adventures as anthropological study, hedonism as food and drink, and various personal grievances as sage wisdom (this last technique being borrowed from philosophers, prophets, and professors). Now to answer some questions:

Who is the Sterling Elephant?
Firstly, he’s a thief. Don’t listen to his trickery. He is full of wickedness and tomfoolery and not to be trusted. That’s all there is to know. Anyway, he’s traveling along with us – you don’t always get a choice in your companions.
What do you mean, Anthropology?
Quests of a quixotic nature, observations at random locations, the occasional interview if we happen to wake up on that side of the bed. All of waking life is accidental anthropology, and the absurdity only grows upon inspection.
What do you mean, Hedonism?
Next question.
What do you mean, Personal Grievances?
These will generally be of a corrective nature, something like the Mosaic law. Or an Op-Ed. Possibly a dithyramb, depending on our levels of personal enthusiasm that day. However, they can still just be grievances of a personal nature.
Please take a look around, and we hope you enjoy!
